Motor yachts
Motor yachts are motor boats with a flybridge, often with a hull length of 15 metres or more. Motor yachts offer their owners a great deal of luxury and space: several cabins, a saloon and, for example, a second helm on the flybridge. Motor yachts are designed for longer voyages and open waters, whether along the coast or abroad.

To Advice →What is a flybridge?
A flybridge is an open deck, situated above the cabin, with a second helm and seating area. It offers excellent visibility and a wonderfully open feel (in good weather).
What is the difference between a motor yacht and a motor cruiser?
A motor yacht is large (>15 metres), with a powerful engine, and built for open water. A motor cruiser is a semi-displacement vessel, meaning it usually travels more slowly and, due to its design, is also much more fuel-efficient. They are often designed for inland waterways and are therefore less suited to the open sea.
How much crew does a motor yacht need?
Most motor yachts up to around 15 metres can be handled by two experienced people, helped by bow and stern thrusters or joystick control. Larger yachts, especially above 20 metres, are often run with a professional crew.
