Sports cruisers
A sports cruiser is a planing motor boat with a cabin for overnight stays. Because of the cabin, they are often longer than 7 metres and feature an open top, hard top or fully enclosed top. A sports cruiser is ideal for a few days away, without compromising on speed. On Water&Wind, sports cruisers are mostly up to 15 metres in length and do not have a flybridge; larger models or those with a flybridge are listed under motor yachts.

To Advice →What is the difference between a sports cruiser and a motor cruiser?
A sports cruiser is a planing craft and travels faster. Sports cruisers are generally designed for short stays on board. A motor cruiser has a closed wheelhouse and offers a smoother ride (displacement). Motor cruisers are better equipped for staying on board for days or weeks.
How many berths does a sports cruiser have?
That varies depending on the model. Compact models often have two. Larger models have four or more. You can find the number of cabins and berths for each model at Water&Wind.
Can I spend a holiday on board a sports cruiser?
Yes, that is what it is designed for: most models have a double berth forward, a small galley and a toilet compartment. For longer trips, look at the water and fuel tank capacity, the headroom in the cabin and whether there is a separate aft cabin.
