One place to compare new boats
Anyone looking for a new boat often needs to piece the information together. From yard websites, importers and dealers, in brochures and at boat shows. Specifications are presented differently everywhere and prices are hard to find or compare. That’s why we started Water&Wind in 2019. An independent comparison site for new boats where you can see all models side by side.
Independent means no hidden agreements or obligations and no paid positions in the rankings. A boat’s popularity is built by real visitors and not influenced by promotion.
PromotionBuilders and dealers can pay for extra visibility. This is always separate from our rankings and comparisons and clearly labelled on the site as Promotion.
How our data comes together
Sources
For every value we record from which source the value is derived and when. Our data is based on manufacturer information and other public sources.
Our own checks
We bring specifications and prices back to one consistent notation and check them for errors and contradictions. If a value is missing, we leave it open rather than guess.
Independent
No hidden arrangements or obligations. No paid positions for boats in the rankings. Paid visibility is always labelled Promotion.
Corrections welcome
Yards regularly update their models and prices. Did you spot something that isn’t right? Let us know via the contact form and we’ll correct it.
Your boats shown well on Water&Wind
Dealers can sign up to receive sea trial and quote requests. Builders and importers can add or correct data.
