The hull is V-shaped with a 15.5-degree deadrise and is made of glass-fibre-reinforced plastic. Below deck there are three guest cabins with eight berths, plus a separate crew cabin. The aft deck extends into a swim platform.
Astondoa comes with a 725 hp Volvo Penta D11 as standard. The yard lists the 800 hp MAN i6 and the 725 hp Volvo Penta D11-IPS 950 as optional extras. The stated top speed is 32 knots.
The light weight is 26,700 kilograms and the fully laden weight is 32,400 kilograms. The fuel tank holds 2,400 litres and the water tank 600 litres. The vessel is certified by RINA and is authorised to carry a maximum of eighteen people on board.
