About Water&Wind
Water&Wind is an independent comparison site for new boats. No hidden arrangements or obligations. No paid positions for boats in the rankings. We do not sell boats or insurance. If you want to buy a boat, book a sea trial or get a quote, we refer you to the builder or a dealer. Any agreement you make there is directly with that party.
The information on this site is meant to help you get oriented. It does not replace personal advice or checking with the seller before you decide.
Accuracy of data
Specifications and prices come from builders, importers, dealers and public sources. We collect them carefully, but builders regularly change models, versions and prices. A value may therefore be outdated or incomplete. Always check the details that matter to you with the seller.
For every value we record where it comes from and when we captured it. Point at a value to see its source, like here. A dash means the value is not yet known.
Postcodes and place names for searching by distance come from GeoNames, under the licence CC BY 4.0.
Spotted an error? Let us know at notice@waterwind.net and mention the page and the value. Builders and dealers can also submit corrections themselves.
Prices
A boat can show three kinds of prices. Each means something different, so we always show which type it is.
- Base price
- The lowest price the builder or importer states for the base version. Options, engine or extra equipment can raise the price considerably.
- New price estimate
- An estimate when the builder publishes no price, derived from reviews, boat show prices or listings. Meant as a guide, not a quote.
- Second-hand asking price
- What sellers ask in listings for used examples of the same model. It is an asking price, not the price the boat eventually sells for.
Prices are indicative and may change without notice. Transport, delivery costs, options and engine are usually not included. You agree the actual price with the seller.
Image use
Photos and videos of boats come from the manufacturers and their importers. We use this material to show their brand and models, to promote those brands. Copyright remains with the rights holder; Water&Wind claims no rights to this material.
That is why there is no credit under every photo. In the full-screen photo viewer we name the brand as the source. If you are the rights holder and do not want an image shown here, you can request removal with the form below.
Removal request
Tell us which page or image it concerns and why you request removal. We respond within a week.
External links and advertising
We link to websites of builders, dealers, web shops and listing sites. Those sites are not our responsibility; we cannot vouch for their content, prices or terms.
Paid positions of builders and dealers are labelled Promotion and are separate from our rankings and comparisons. The advertiser is responsible for their content.
Privacy in brief
- We measure visits with statistics without cookies and without following you across other sites.
- We only measure visits through a privacy-first tool: Simple Analytics.
- Your favourites and comparisons are only stored in your own browser.
- You do not need an account; we only ask for details when you fill in a form yourself.
- If you send a request to a dealer or builder through a form, we pass your details and your question on to that party so they can contact you.
- Our forms are protected against spam with Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum applies.
