The story of Princess Yachts begins in 1965 on Newport Street in Plymouth, where former naval officer David King wanted to set up a boat hire business with two friends. The boats were too expensive to hire, so they decided to build one themselves.

What began as Marine Projects has grown to become one of the world’s most respected British yacht builders, with an impressive range stretching from sports cruisers to majestic superyachts. Still ‘crafted in Plymouth, England’.
