Trailable up to 1,500 kg
Our selection of boats that can be towed by an average car. From power sloops to RIBs, from console boats to sports boats. With a boat that’s easy to tow, you can choose a different stretch of water every weekend and store the boat at home or at a boathouse. This selection is based on the weight specified by the yard. Add the weight of the trailer, fuel and equipment to this, and check the maximum towing capacity of your car and driving licence to find out what you’re allowed and able to tow.

Does the weight of the trailer count as well?
Not in this selection on our website but it does count for your towing limit. Our selection is based on the boat’s weight as specified by the yard. The trailer, fuel and equipment are added on top of that. Use the total figure when checking what your car is authorised to tow and what your driving licence permits.
What does ‘weight without the engine’ mean?
Sometimes the yard only specifies the weight of the boat without the engine. In that case, we include the boat’s weight up to 1,375 kg and allow for approximately 125 kg for an average outboard engine. If you opt for a heavier engine, 125 kg may not be enough. Please bear this in mind.
What do I need to tow a boat?
A car with enough towing capacity, a driving licence that covers the combined weight of car and trailer, and a braked trailer that fits the hull. Rules on weight, width and licences differ by country, so check the local regulations before you buy.
