The aluminium hull is 5 to 12 mm thick and has watertight bulkheads forward and aft of the steering gear. The integral centreboard reduces the draught from 2.90 to 1.27 metres, so lagoons and shallow anchorages are within reach. Ballast, water and fuel are positioned centrally to concentrate the weight.
Steering is from a sheltered outdoor position under a fixed hardtop, with an optional enclosure that can be closed, or from the interior wheelhouse. The chart table is at the front of the saloon with 270-degree visibility. A watertight door, double glazing and lines led to the cockpit make sailing with a small crew possible.
There are three double cabins plus a technical room and a large sail locker; a family version has four cabins and four bathrooms. Central heating from a diesel boiler, 74 mm hull insulation and insulated floors provide comfort in cold regions. The finish combines brushed aluminium with wood.
On board are tanks for 1,200 litres of diesel and 880 litres of water, a watermaker and power from a hydrogenerator, solar panels and a generator. The diesel engine delivers 115 hp. Key dimensions: hull length 15.60 m, beam 4.80 m, displacement 19.5 tonnes, ballast 6.57 tonnes and 120 m² of sail upwind.
