The layout is designed for socialising, dining, sunbathing, water sports, overnight stays and camping. The cockpit has two passenger seats and an L-shaped seating area, and there is space on the aft deck and in the cabin to relax and sunbathe. Depending on the version, there is a galley worktop or a full galley, and a marine toilet is either standard or optional.
All Flippers feature the so-called Speedhull, a hull designed for higher speeds and sporty handling in a wide range of conditions. The hull has a double frame built using vacuum technology. This makes the construction very stiff, which according to the yard improves steering response and reduces noise in the cockpit.
The hull has been designed around Mercury engines. Packages are available with a Mercury 225 hp V6 or a Mercury 300 hp V8, both with Active Trim. Standard equipment includes a canopy, cushions for the cockpit and foredeck, hydraulic steering, a teak floor, cruise control, a washbasin and wireless charging. Options include a bow thruster, anchor windlass, bimini, heater, cool drawer and gas hob.
The 700 DC is 7.17 m long and 2.48 m wide, with a draught of 0.75 m. It weighs 1300 kg excluding engine and the fixed fuel tank holds 188 litres; a 48-litre fresh water system is optional. Power ranges from 225 to 300 hp. The cabin has two plus two berths. CE design category C, seven persons.
