About Flipper

Finnish daycruisers with a Speedhull and a long history.

Flipper was born in 1966 in Nauvo, Finland, where a new boatyard opened its doors at the end of that year. The brand subsequently changed hands several times: in 1986 Rapala acquired a majority stake, in 1990 Siltala Yachts followed, and in 1992 Bella-Veneet of Kuopio took over the brand. In early 2025 Nimbus Group sold the smaller Flipper models to Cremo Boats, part of the Swedish Intaga Group.

The current range consists of daycruisers from 6.7 to just over 9 metres, all featuring the Speedhull: a stiff, vacuum-built hull with a double frame, designed around Mercury outboard engines. Cremo builds the boats at its factory in Chojnice (Poland). The range will receive a facelift for model year 2027.
