The cockpit has a U-shaped seating area, and the aft deck offers space for sunbathing or sleeping. At the front is a ventilated cabin with berths for two plus two people. Depending on the version, there is a galley worktop or a full galley, and a marine toilet is either standard or optional.
All Flippers feature the so-called Speedhull, a hull designed for higher speeds and sporty handling in a wide range of conditions. The hull has a double frame built using vacuum technology. This makes the construction very stiff, which according to the yard improves steering response and reduces noise in the cockpit.
The boat has been designed around Mercury engines, for good handling and a low noise level. Packages are available with a Mercury 150 hp EFI or 200 hp V6. Standard equipment includes hydraulic steering, a SmartCraft instrument, a cockpit table, teak on the foredeck and cockpit, and USB sockets. Packages add items such as a Simrad Glass Bridge, a cool drawer and trim tabs.
The 650 DC is 6.74 m long and 2.46 m wide, with a draught of 0.70 m. It weighs 1050 kg excluding engine and the fixed fuel tank holds 145 litres; a 48-litre fresh water system is optional. Power ranges from 150 to 200 hp. CE design category C, seven persons.
