The Stratos Dutch Built 50 is the first model from the Lelystad-based yard Stratos Yacht and was unveiled in December 2023. It is an open motor yacht with an enclosed helm station beneath a carbon fibre hardtop, designed for fast day trips and longer crossings on the open water.

The yard describes the vessel as a boat built to superyacht standards that can also be used in rough conditions.

The hull consists of a sandwich construction made of glass-fibre-reinforced vinyl ester resin, whilst the superstructure is made entirely of carbon fibre and carbon sandwich panels. This combination keeps the centre of gravity low. The deck is finished with Flexiteek. The beam is 4.45 metres, the draught 1.28 metres and the displacement at half load 20 tonnes. The stern deadrise is 22 degrees.

The standard propulsion system consists of two Volvo Penta D6 IPS650 diesel engines with pod drive, each producing 480 hp. As an option, the yard offers two Volvo Penta D8 IPS800 engines, each producing 600 hp. The stated top speed is 36 knots. The yard quotes a cruising speed of 32 knots, whilst YachtBuyer puts it at 26 knots with a range of approximately 400 nautical miles. The fuel tank holds 2,100 litres, the fresh water tank 450 litres, the holding tank 150 litres and the grey water tank 50 litres.

Stratos has certified the Dutch Built 50 in CE design category A. The boat has a cabin with two fixed berths and a convertible seating area that provides two additional berths, plus a wet room.
