The RS CAT14 is the mid-sized beach catamaran from RS Sailing and is intended for sailing schools, recreational use and club regattas. It was designed by Jo Richards in collaboration with the yard. The catamaran is 4.25 metres long and 2.14 metres wide.

The hulls are rotomoulded from Comptec PE3 polyethylene and weigh a combined total of 84.6 kilograms. According to the yard, the stiffness and balance are remarkably good for a boat built using this durable and affordable construction method. The maximum crew weight is 340 kilograms for a crew of three.
There is no propulsion engine; the boat is powered solely by sail. The sail plan comprises an 8.1-square-metre mainsail and a 2.1-square-metre jib, supplemented by a 9.0-square-metre asymmetric spinnaker.
