Nowadays, this attractive model can serve just as well as a dinghy for a classic yacht as it can as a power sloop for cruising on the lakes. Thanks to its light weight of 200 kg and shallow draught, the 13 is very easy to tow.
This power sloop is unsinkable. The double-skinned interior features ergonomically designed benches all round. The foredeck and cockpit floor are fitted with a non-slip surface, which enhances safety on board.
When it comes to propulsion, virtually anything is possible. There is a recess at the bottom of the keel for a battery-powered inboard engine. The transom is fitted with a mount for an outboard engine, covering the specified power range of 1 to 6 hp.
With the addition of a centreboard and a gaff rig, it’s a delight to sail. The sail area is 8.00 square metres and the mast height is 4.00 metres, allowing the boat to pass easily under low bridges.
