The hull is 9.14 metres long and 3.70 metres wide, with a light displacement of 2,800 kilograms. The fixed keel has a draught of 1.90 metres, whilst the lifting keel has a draught of either 1.05 or 2.50 metres. The boat is constructed from vacuum-infused fibreglass sandwich panels with polyester or vinyl ester resin and PVC foam.
The basic version is fitted with a 20 hp Volvo D1 saildrive with a folding propeller, a 40-litre fuel tank and a 145-litre fresh water tank. With the standard aluminium mast, the upwind sail area is 51 m²; with the optional EVO carbon mast, it is 65 m². The asymmetrical spinnaker measures 93 or 105 m².
The Pogo 30 is classified as CE design category A. The basic version has six berths, including a double berth at the front and one at the rear. According to the yard, separate buoyancy compartments make the boat unsinkable.
The Pogo 30 builds on the concept of the earlier Pogo 8.50. The interior panelling is designed for lightness and durability.
