Novurania designed the boat with safety and comfort in mind, featuring a fully foldable structure that can be quickly set up and stowed away. According to the yard, this makes it the ideal solution for yachts where space and reliability are the top priorities.
The modular design explains its low weight: 107 kilos without the engine and 171 kilos including the engine, with a length of 4.3 metres. The floor is made of drop-stitch fabric, whilst the transom and hull are covered in Hypalon. An aluminium transom plate accommodates a tiller-steered outboard engine of up to 25 hp, capable of speeds of around 32 km per hour.
It can carry six people, with double benches as standard. There are also handholds on the port and starboard sides and lashing eyes on the transom. Novurania offers a fuel tank with a gauge, a boat cover, oars and a white engine version as optional extras. As the boat is fully foldable, it can be stored compactly and only unfolded when needed, which, for a rescue tender, makes all the difference as to whether or not it is taken along.
