Novurania describes the DL 400 as agile and easy to manoeuvre, designed to support you in everything you do on and in the water, from swimming to water sports. At 4.1 metres, it can accommodate six people – the same as the smaller DL 360 – but with more deck space and a beam of 1.9 metres.
The engine power reaches 50 hp with an outboard motor, giving a top speed of around 58 km per hour according to the yard. The kerb weight is 390 kilos and the fuel capacity is 38 litres, which is sufficient for a day’s boating back and forth between the yacht and shore. Compared to the DL 360, you gain mainly in deck space, whilst the weight remains limited.
Standard features include a bow step with navigation lights and a cleat, boarding steps, LED deck and navigation lights, a non-slip deck and yacht-grade stainless steel cleats and handrails. The construction method is consistent with the rest of the range, featuring a vacuum-moulded fibreglass hull, a foam-encased stringer system and Hypalon-Neoprene tubes. The tubes are made from Novurania Hypalon-Neoprene, the same material used on the larger models in the range.
