Despite its size, the yacht has been deliberately designed so that a crew of two can sail it. The central cockpit has two steering columns, the winches are within easy reach and the sail lines run right into the cockpit. As such, the 570 is explicitly intended as a world cruiser for a couple.
The deckhouse, with its tinted, full-height windows, floods the saloon with natural light and offers unobstructed views. Below deck, the yard combines spacious living areas with luxurious finishes and the quality cabinetry for which Najad is renowned. The large open deck areas also make the yacht a pleasure to be on whilst at anchor.
The displacement is 28,300 kilograms, of which 9,200 kilograms is ballast. The keel is 2.70 metres deep as standard, with a shallow version measuring 2.10 metres. The mast rises to 26.30 metres above the water, which requires careful consideration when planning bridges and fixed crossings.
When sailing close-hauled, there are 163 square metres of sail area. A Code Zero of 167 square metres, a spinnaker of 223 square metres and a gennaker of 225 square metres are also available. The on-board technology has been deliberately kept relatively simple, so that maintenance can still be carried out anywhere in the world.
