The hull is 17.12 m long with a waterline length of 14.47 m and a beam of 4.94 m; at the waterline, the beam is 3.91 m. Like the smaller models, the boat has a folding keel with centreboards at the stern, giving a draught ranging from 1.20 m to 3.18 m. The ballast consists of solid lead in the keel box.
The kerb weight is 20,500 kg and the laden weight is 24,700 kg. The yard supplies a Yanmar 4JH80 with 80 hp as standard, with a 110 hp Yanmar available as an option. The fuel tank holds 1,150 litres and the water tank 1,500 litres, sufficient for long journeys without stopping.
The sail area totals 145 m², comprising a mainsail of 71 m² and a genoa of 74 m². The anodised aluminium mast is 21.50 m long and has twin forward-set spreaders.
The layout comprises three cabins, each with four to six berths: a double cabin at the bow, a double cabin aft on the port side, and an aft cabin on the starboard side with a double berth or two bunk beds. The coffee table can optionally be converted into an extra berth. The design is by Jean-Francois Delvoye.
