The Judel Vrolijk design measures 13.50 metres overall, 12.20 metres at the waterline and 4.03 metres in beam. The hull is vacuum-infused in vinyl ester with a carefully fitted core, a construction method that combines rigidity and insulation.
The cockpit is situated in the centre of the boat, where the yacht moves the least and the crew are best sheltered. Behind the cockpit is the owner’s cabin, which spans the full beam of the boat and has its own bathroom; at the bow, there is space for guests.
For the saloon, the yard offers two layouts: one with a bench and one with individual chairs, so that the layout can be tailored to the cruising area. The finishing is carried out by hand and is in keeping with the series of over two thousand yachts that the yard has built since the 1970s.
With a displacement of 14,200 kilograms, 4,800 kilograms of ballast and a keel 2.10 metres deep, the yacht is clearly built for seagoing capability. The mast rises 20.50 metres above the water and carries 102 square metres of sail when sailing close-hauled.
