Measuring 6.52 metres in length and 2.44 metres in beam, the boat remains trailable.
The hull is a deep-V design by the Mannerfelt Design Team, which, according to the yard, has more than 25 world titles in powerboat racing to its name. A distinctive feature is the IRON Fender profile, a fender integrated into the hull that runs the full length of the boat, giving it the silhouette of a RIB without inflatable tubes. On board, there are raised seats for the skipper and co-pilot behind a central console with a large windscreen, a fold-down table in the cockpit and a standard sun lounger on the foredeck.
The 647 is powered by a single petrol outboard engine, with a maximum output of 200 hp. IRON works in partnership with Mercury at the factory. The yard cites rapid acceleration, predictable handling and good fuel economy as the hull’s key features.
The model is available in two deck versions, Open and T-Top. The dashboard can accommodate two 12-inch plotters or a single 15-inch widescreen monitor. The boat is certified for six people on board under CE design category C.
