It is a classic-looking motor yacht that the yard positions as a go-anywhere boat, built for long passages and for both weekends away and longer voyages.
Like the smaller models, the E6 has a stable hull which, according to the yard, is designed not to capsize. The roof can be opened for a flybridge feel or closed for protection from the weather. Elling designed the exterior, interior and hull itself. A 360-degree virtual tour is available for those interested.
The accommodation sleeps six guests. According to YachtBuyer, there is a double cabin with en-suite bathroom, a second guest cabin with en-suite bathroom and a crew cabin with its own toilet, plus an additional day toilet. The berths consist of a king-size bed, a queen-size bed and a bunk bed.
The E6 is powered by a single Volvo Penta D13 diesel. With the 900 hp D13-900, YachtBuyer quotes around 18 knots, and with the 1,000 hp D13-1000 around 21 knots. At a cruising speed of 9 knots, the range is around 2,500 nautical miles. The yard refers to a hull with Kevlar reinforcement, while YachtBuyer lists fibreglass.
