The Dragonfly 28 is a nine-metre folding trimaran, designed for sailors who want to combine speed with the option of spending the night on board and storing the boat on a trailer during the winter. The boat is available in two rig configurations: Touring and Performance.

The Swing Wing system folds the floats towards the centre hull. When sailing, the boat is 6.50 m wide and, when folded, 2.54 m wide. The centreboard provides a draught of 0.40 m when raised and 1.70 m when lowered. The main cabin has a headroom of 1.85 m; the yard states that it can accommodate five to seven people. The fresh water tank holds 90 litres and there is a 60-litre holding tank.
The boat has a dry weight of 2,100 kg and has a maximum load capacity of 750 kg, including the crew. It is powered by a 15 hp Honda outboard engine with electric start and electric tilt control. The yard states a top speed of over 20 knots.
The Touring has a 12.10 m mast with a 37 m² mainsail and an 18.5 m² furling jib. The Performance has a 13.60-metre mast with a 43 m² mainsail and a 21.5 m² furling jib. Both can fly a Code Zero of 37 or 45 m² and an asymmetrical spinnaker of 60 or 83 m². The bowsprit is 1.60 m and 1.90 m long respectively.
The boat is unsinkable. It has CE certification in design category B for five people and design category C for seven people.
