The Oceanis 52 is the eighth generation of this cruiser, designed by shipbuilder Roberto Biscontini in collaboration with Nauta Design, and is centred on three pillars: elegance, innovation and heritage. Sleek stern lines and a pronounced chine lend it a dynamic, elegant appearance, whilst the full beam extending to the transom results in a cockpit that is 30 per cent more spacious than that of its predecessor, the Oceanis 51.1.
The standard version, with a furling mast and self-tacking jib, makes the boat highly manoeuvrable, whilst the optional First Line Pack adds extra sail area for better performance on any course. The owner’s cabin features a spacious 160 cm bed with plenty of storage space, the galley has a full-height fridge for long voyages, and the gently sloping staircase provides intuitive access to light, inviting spaces throughout the boat. The Seanapps app provides connectivity to all on-board systems.
