The First 24 is a smart pocket cruiser, a fun day sailer and an exciting club racer all in one, thereby living up to the First promise of modern, performance-oriented sailing. The boat comfortably accommodates four people and features a fully retractable centreboard, making shallow waters accessible and simplifying launching from a standard slipway.
A flat, modern planing hull with a deep ballast keel ensures stability and speed, whilst twin rudders guarantee control in a variety of conditions. The advanced GRP vacuum-infusion construction results in a lightweight platform that responds even in light winds. The interior consists of a single spacious open area with two berths for two people in the V-shaped forepeak and on two extendable side benches, along with storage space for the crew, underfloor storage compartments and facilities for a chemical toilet.
Unsinkable compartments provide extra safety, and the pivoting keel protects the hull should the boat run aground. Suitable for solo, two-person or fully crewed sailing, from relaxed family outings to performance-oriented races and day trips. Compatible with the Seanapps app for monitoring on-board systems and route planning. Design: Samuel Manuard (ship design), Sito (interior) and Seascape (concept and R&D).
