The D23 is the latest development from Damarin yacht builders. With twenty years’ experience in yacht building, having mainly built power sloops, it was time to take the next step. A logical step, as the builders are sailors by trade. For years, sailing boats had been getting bigger and bigger.

Now, however, there is a greater need for a more compact model, closer to the water for a better sailing experience - just like the open boat in which many people first learnt to sail. Added to this is a berth closer to home, so that you can still go for a spin in the evening, with lower running costs and simpler maintenance.
The yard wanted a boat with classic lines and modern sailing characteristics. The hull, with its elegant bow and transom featuring a cantilevered rudder, combined with the sleek, short superstructure, gives the D23 a look that’s easy to fall in love with.
The deep cockpit features an ergonomic design with high backrests to ensure the necessary comfort. All lines can be operated from within the cockpit, making the D23 very easy to sail even when sailing solo.
The interior offers seating and berths for four adults. The combination of light teak, solid timber mouldings, Corian worktops, an oak floor, luxurious upholstery and the necessary light-coloured surfaces creates a sleek and contemporary look.
