The result is a remarkably stable console boat that continues to cruise safely and comfortably even in rougher waters.

The wide bow effectively deflects spray to the side, whilst the deep V-hull allows the boat to glide smoothly through the waves. The unique double-chine keel design lowers the threshold for planing to such an extent that the boat begins to plane at around 12 knots. When fitted with a 50-hp outboard engine, the most economical cruising range is between 14 and 22 knots, with a top speed of up to approximately 29 knots.

Clever design features make for a relaxing boating experience. All storage compartments have an integrated Abloy lock and the hatches can be operated with one hand. The centre console houses the main switch, the fuse panel and the battery, with space for a flush-mounted 9-inch display. A full-beam storage compartment runs beneath the rear seat, with space for all the cushions. The standard canopy storage compartment serves as an extra compartment when no canopy is fitted.

The flat, uncluttered aft deck makes moving about on board easier and safer. True to the design philosophy of AMT, even this smallest model features a walkway in front of the engine compartment, which makes mooring and boarding easier. This makes the 150 R just as suitable for commuting across the water as it is for a day’s fishing.
