About this boat
The Sirius 35 DS was launched in 2010 as the first design in the modern deck saloon range of the Sirius-Werft in Plön. The boat was developed based on customers' wishes. Thanks to its multi-level layout, it offers the space of a larger yacht in a 35-foot hull.

The raised saloon gives all-round views from inside, so you can sit dry and enjoy the view even in bad weather. The saloon table can optionally be converted into a double bed. Headroom is 1.95 metres or more, which is generous for a yacht of this length.
There are versions with two, four or six berths, each customisable to your wishes. In the four-berth version, the owner's cabin is beneath the central seating area, with a bed measuring 2.04 by 1.60 metres. In the two-berth version the aft cabin is omitted, providing extra storage space. The heads compartment has a separate shower.
The hull is hand-laid fibreglass with a vacuum-bonded sandwich above the waterline; the deck is also of sandwich construction. The hull-deck joint and bulkheads are laminated in. A fin keel is standard, with a shallower fin keel, a twin keel or a swing keel as options. Propulsion comes from a Volvo Penta D2-50 with saildrive and folding propeller.
The rig has two spreaders, an aluminium mast and boom and a self-tacking jib as standard. Key dimensions: length overall 10.60 m, waterline 9.70 m, beam 3.53 m, displacement 8.1 tonnes, ballast 2.6 tonnes and 56.7 m² of sail (mainsail plus self-tacking jib). CE design category A.
