About this boat
The Soleil 42 is one of the largest models in the Soleil range and combines Italian design with a level of specification reminiscent of a motor yacht. Below deck, there are two cabins, with a finish characterised by bleached oak veneer and synthetic teak. The hull, transom and keel are made of fibreglass.

The hull is a double-step design with a deadrise of 30 degrees, designed by Adam Younger and optimised for efficient tacking and predictable handling. The tubes are made of Hypalon ORCA and have a diameter of 74 centimetres.
The overall length is 12.75 metres and the beam is 3.95 metres. The dry weight, excluding engines, is 4,500 kilograms.
The propulsion system consists of outboard engines: Salpa recommends two 425 hp engines or three 300 hp engines, with a maximum of 1,350 hp. The fuel tank holds 750 litres, the water tank 225 litres, and there is also a 25-litre boiler.
The fittings include, amongst other things, air conditioning, hot water and a shower, a galley with a coffee machine, Garmin navigation equipment with an autopilot, a Fusion sound system and a range of mood and task lighting on board.
