About Salpa
Neapolitan craftsmanship, from rib boats to sporty open boats.
Salpa was founded in 1984 by engineer Antonio Pane and his wife Enza in Vitulazio, near Caserta. The company started out making small open boats and gradually expanded in size and range of applications. Salpa remains a family-run business.
The yard handles everything in-house, from design to tank tests. In addition to its standard boats, ranging from the 6.15-metre-long Sunsix to the 11.20-metre-long Avantgarde 35, Salpa has also been building RIBs in the Soleil range, up to 12.75 metres, since 2016. Antonio Pane describes the approach himself as organised craftsmanship.
