About this boat
The Soleil 30 is the sixth model in the Soleil range and was unveiled at the Nautic boat show in Paris. Salpa describes the boat as a nine-metre vessel for those who wish to stay true to the spirit of the classic inflatable, with its characteristic ease of use and safety, whilst at the same time wanting a truly liveable cabin.

The hull, transom and floor are made of fibreglass, with a single-step carene and a deadrise of 30 degrees. The tubes are made of Hypalon ORCA 1670, with a diameter that increases from 54 to 65 centimetres, giving the boat extra volume at the bow and ensuring a dry ride.
The overall length is 9.10 metres and the CE hull length is 7.99 metres, with a beam of 3.21 metres. The yard states that the unladen weight, excluding the engine, is 2,200 kilograms.
Salpa recommends either a single 300 hp engine or two 200 hp engines; the maximum permitted is a single 450 hp engine or two 225 hp engines. The fuel tank holds 400 litres and the water tank 70 litres, which is more than enough for a multi-day trip.
The Soleil 30 is certified to CE design category B for up to 14 people. Thanks to the cabin beneath the foredeck, the boat is suitable for overnight stays on board, whilst the deck retains the open layout of a RIB.
