About this boat
The Soleil 20 is the six-metre model in the Soleil range from Cantieri Salpa and is specifically designed as an accessible entry-level boat. The yard has set the bar higher than usual for this size by including as standard features that you would normally find in a higher class of boat.

The hull, transom and keel are made of fibreglass. The hull shape is a single-step design with a deadrise of 26 degrees, which ensures a smooth ride in choppy water. The tubes are made of Hypalon ORCA 1670, have a diameter of 58 centimetres and extend beyond the transom.
The overall length is 6.40 metres and the CE hull length is 5.95 metres, with a beam of 2.54 metres. This means the boat remains within the dimensions that make towing and storage in an average boat bay straightforward.
Salpa states the dry weight (excluding the engine) as 650 kilograms. The recommended engine power is 70 hp, and the maximum permitted power is 140 hp. The fuel tank holds 90 litres and the water tank 30 litres.
The Soleil 20 is certified to CE design category C for up to 9 people. Standard features include closed-cell cushions, lockable storage compartments and hydraulic steering, finished in synthetic teak and available in a range of colour schemes. This makes the model equally suitable for use as a day-trip boat or for water sports behind the boat.
