Ryds recommends an outboard engine of 80 to 115 hp with a maximum engine weight of 185 kilograms, capable of speeds of 30 to 36 knots. The fixed fuel tank has a capacity of 82 litres.
The 550VI Mid C is certified to CE design category C for five people, with seating in the bow, amidships and at the stern.
The boat has several storage compartments and adjustable seats and, according to the yard, is suitable for swimming, fishing and water sports.
