Its most striking feature is the cockpit, which can be opened and closed electrically: the side windows, windscreen and hardtop change position, so that the boat switches between an open bowrider and an enclosed cruiser.

Two terrace doors fold down and extend the deck towards the water. An integrated PowerShade extends from the hardtop to provide shade in the aft cockpit. At the stern you can choose between a fold-away bench and an UltraLounge, and at the helm there is an electrically adjustable helm seat. There is a wet bar with a grill and a fold-out TV.

For anglers there are two pressurised live wells, insulated fish boxes, one of which has an ice maker, and a dive door to starboard. Below deck there is a full-beam cabin, a convertible berth forward and a toilet with a separate shower. The LivePower system combines lithium batteries with a generator.

The hull follows the OceanTrac2 design, which according to Regal provides good handling and a dry ride. There are Standard and Ultimate versions. The LX43 shares its hull and main dimensions with the 43 SAV, but has its own cockpit and deck layout.
