The aft cockpit has an L-shaped seating area with a teak table, a grill station and a removable seat section for easy stepping ashore. The foredeck has a sunpad with an optional cabana. The swim platform wraps around the outboard engines.
Below deck there is an aft cabin with a king-size bed that converts into two single beds, a forward cabin with a queen-size bed and a settee. The head has a separate shower with a teak floor. Instead of a refreshment centre, you can choose a second head.
The hull is built using infusion technology and has an 18-degree deadrise and MarineTred non-slip. Standard equipment includes a Seakeeper 3 stabiliser, a 22-inch Garmin display or optionally two 16-inch displays, joystick control, autopilot and a concealed 32-inch TV.
The 42 XO measures 12.85 metres overall with a beam of 3.96 metres and a dry weight of approximately 12,770 kg. It carries 1,893 litres of fuel, 276 litres of fresh water, a 110-litre holding tank and 151 litres of diesel for the generator. The configurator supplies it with three 450 hp Yamaha V8s.
