Measuring 11.99 metres overall, with a waterline of 10.98 metres and a beam of 4.00 metres, the yacht remains easy to handle for a couple who wish to sail independently.
The design was the result of a collaboration between Najad, Farr Yacht Design and Ken Freivokh Design. Farr designed the underwater lines and the sail plan, whilst Freivokh was responsible for the styling and interior. This combination has resulted in a yacht that is clearly faster than the older Najads without losing the brand’s robust character.
The cockpit is spacious and designed in Caribbean style, and features a dual helm, ensuring that the crew on the windward side always has a clear view. Behind the steering wheels is a fold-down swim platform. The sail area totals 89 square metres when sailing close-hauled, supplemented by a Code Zero of 76 square metres and a spinnaker of 123 square metres.
Below deck, the buyer can choose between a layout with two or three cabins and with one or two spacious wet rooms. The finish is in the Swedish tradition, featuring solid mouldings and carefully fitted panelling, whilst the storage space is clearly designed with longer voyages in mind.
