About this boat

The aim is fast, comfortable cruising to remote destinations.
The large deck offers space ahead of and behind the cockpit. The aft lounge is the centrepiece, seating up to ten people, with storage space, a cooker, a dining table and refrigerated drawers; the sunbed is integrated into the engine hatch. As standard, the boat has a lounge layout with a helm seat for driving standing or seated, with six Ullmann suspension seats available as an upgrade.
A lightweight Safari Top with a black aluminium frame and carbon canopy provides shade, and a fabric cover protects the cockpit from wind and rain if required. In the bow there is a double bed and a full toilet compartment behind smoked glass with washbasin, mirrors, shower and shelves. A coffee machine and power socket are optional.
The hull has four steps and a 22-degree deadrise and is built from glass fibre and carbon. The 49 Open has inboard propulsion; the engine is chosen via the yard's configurator. Goldfish quotes a top speed of 63 to 100 knots and points to the hull's minimal pitching and low resistance.
