The boat sits on a stepped hull, the WhalerStep. This combines parent company Brunswick's patented T-step design with the Unibond construction of Boston Whaler. According to the yard, this delivers a smoother and drier ride, more efficient fuel consumption, greater control and greater range at sea.
It is a centre console boat for sport fishing, day trips and long days on the water, which according to the yard is also suitable for light commercial use such as charter or patrol work. You can put together options, equipment and colours using the yard's configurator.
The 290 Outrage measures 9.30 m overall with a beam of 2.85 m and a draught of 0.66 m. The boat is designed for twin outboard engines with a maximum of 700 hp, the tank holds 734 litres, the payload is 1,208 kg and twelve people are allowed on board.
