Forward there are seats with folding backrests and tables on both sides, and forward of the console is a lounge with armrests. Aft is a hinged bench with an angled backrest. The leaning post behind the helm has flip-up seats and folds electrically into an aft-facing bench.
A large swim platform makes boarding from the pontoon or from the water easy, and an optional swim terrace improves this further. There is a walk-through in the transom on the starboard side. There are an insulated baitwell, an in-floor fish box with pump, rod holders in the hardtop and a tow point for watersports.
The console has room for a 16-inch screen or two 12-inch screens, a wireless phone charger and a portable toilet. Power ranges from 350 to 600 hp, single or twin Mercury Verado. There are also a 606-litre tank, a 68-litre freshwater shower, electric trim tabs and three battery boxes.
The 280 Dauntless measures 8.74 m overall (8.46 m on the centreline), with a beam of 2.74 m and a draught of 0.46 m. The dry weight without engine is 2,492 kg, the deadrise at the transom is 18 degrees and twelve people may be carried on board.
