Full description
The bow has been redesigned, with an anchor windlass and a boarding ladder. The port lounge can be converted in several ways, and a standard dive door to port provides access from the jetty or from the water. An integrated hardtop with windscreen provides shelter and can carry an electric sunshade for the cockpit.
For anglers there are fish boxes in the cockpit, a livewell in the transom and rod holders in convenient places. In the cockpit there is a grill that folds away when not needed, next to a freshwater sink. The heads compartment in the port console has a washbasin, a portable toilet and storage lockers.
Two Mercury Verado V8 outboard engines with hydraulic steering are standard; the maximum power is 800 hp. On board are a 700-litre fuel tank, a 76-litre freshwater system with showers at the bow and stern, recessed trim tabs and four battery boxes.
The 280 Vantage measures 8.86 m including platforms (8.45 m on the centreline), with a beam of 2.74 m and a draught of 0.53 m. The dry weight without engines is 3,039 kg, twelve people are allowed on board and the boat has CE design category B.
