The new 37-footer builds on the innovations of the seventh generation of Oceanis cruisers, thereby completing the range. The hull design is by Marc Lombard, the exterior styling by Nauta Design, featuring an open deck layout without aft stays, just like the smaller Oceanis models. The hull features flared surfaces with a rib that ensures smooth lines underwater and provides greater power and stability, which benefits both rigidity and interior space. The rig is configured to make solo sailing straightforward: all lines converge at two winches at the rear of the cockpit, and a 7-inch plotter is mounted on the starboard panel.
The cabin offers a surprising amount of space, almost comparable to that of a 40-footer, despite its smaller dimensions. The layout comprises a bench on the port side with a dining table seating six, opposite a galley running the length of the boat. The forward cabin has two large hull windows. There is a choice of layouts with two or three cabins and one or two bathrooms.
For those who want to sail sustainably, an electric motor with a 12 kW pod and 10 kWh of batteries is available. Iroko wood has been used in the cockpit as a sustainable alternative to teak. Using the Seanapps app, you can remotely monitor the battery level, fuel, water level and maintenance schedule.
