When extended, the boat is 5.80 metres wide. When retracted, there are two positions: 3.10 metres for berth and 2.52 metres for road width, so that the boat can be towed. It weighs 1,200 kilograms. The cabin features a forward compartment with storage compartments and a saloon that can be closed off with a curtain.

The sail plan is available in two versions. The cruising version features a 24-square-metre mainsail, an 11-square-metre jib and a 35-square-metre gennaker, whilst the sport version has 27, 13 and 35 square metres respectively. The maximum auxiliary engine power is 7 kilowatts, or 9 hp.

The 26.5 is CE-certified in category C for 5 people and category D for 7 people.
