The hull is made of fibreglass and measures 7.96 metres across the hull, with an overall length of 8.51 metres and a beam of 2.90 metres. The kerb weight is 2,857 kilograms. The aft deck is available in the Lounge, Barracuda and Sleeper layouts, with the latter providing an additional berth.
The propulsion system consists of one or two outboard engines with a maximum output of 400 hp; Wellcraft offers single engines ranging from 250 to 350 hp and a twin-engine configuration with two 200 hp engines. The fuel tank has a capacity of 530 litres and the fresh water tank 50 litres.
