The 717 Outboard is the outboard version of the 717 and can operate in both displacement and planing modes.
The fibreglass hull is 7.27 metres long and 2.80 metres wide. The draught is 0.65 metres, the air draft is 1.25 metres and the weight is approximately 1,750 kilograms.
The propulsion system consists of a petrol or electric outboard engine, with a power output of 30 to 140 hp. The yard states a maximum speed of approximately 55 km/h.
Waterspoor certifies the 717 Outboard in CE design category C (coastal waters) for up to 10 people. Standard features include ergonomic benches with backrests, spacious storage compartments, an integrated swim platform and stainless steel fittings.
