The hull and deck are made of vacuum-infused fibreglass composite. The cockpit is deep and sheltered, with a closed rear section that can be opened to form a swim platform. There is a choice between a standard keel with a draught of 1.95 m and 2,500 kg of ballast, or an optional racing keel with a draught of 2.50 m. The displacement is 6,500 kg.
The engine is a 30 hp unit with a saildrive and electric controls. The sail plan comprises a mainsail of 51 m² and a spinnaker of 29 m², with the option of a 110 per cent jib of 34 m², a Code Zero of 93 m² and a gennaker of 128 m². The sails are supplied by North Sails, and the mast is mounted on two spreaders.
The mast height above water is 18.60 m. The design is by D. Hennevanger and Kees van de Stadt.
