The Saffier SE 28 Leopard is a sporty daysailer with a small cabin, designed for sailors who want to sail fast as a pair whilst still being able to spend the night on board from time to time. The boat is the successor to the yard’s previous 28-footer and was unveiled in 2025.

The hull and deck are made of vacuum-infused fibreglass composite. The cockpit is long and deep, with all halyards and sheets within easy reach of the helm; the boat is available with a steering wheel or a tiller. Below deck there are four berths. There is a choice between a shallow keel with a draught of 1.30 m and 775 kg of ballast, or a standard keel with a draught of 1.70 m and 750 kg of ballast, giving a displacement of 2,200 kg.
The yard offers two options for the propulsion system: a 15 hp Yanmar 2YM15 or a 7.5 kW Mitek electric motor. The fuel tank holds 32.5 litres and the water tank 45 litres. The sail plan consists of a 26 m² mainsail with a 14 m² cross-cut jib, supplemented by a 16 m² 110 per cent jib, a 46 m² Code Zero and a 69 m² gennaker.
The mast height above water is 13 m. The CE design category is C.
