The hull is rotomoulded from Comptec PE3 polyethylene and weighs 73 kilograms. The maximum crew weight is 225 kilograms. The folding centreboard and the rudder with a lift-and-lock system make landing on a beach or slope easy. The boat can also be rowed.
There is no propulsion engine; the boat is powered solely by sail. The mainsail measures 6 square metres and is reefable; a jib measuring 1.1 square metres is optional. The two-piece mast is made of aluminium with a foam-filled top, which prevents it from snapping if the boat capsizes.
The yard states that the boat requires a crew of two, although it can also be sailed solo.
