The boat is 4.90 metres long and 2.00 metres wide, with a fibreglass composite hull weighing 195 kilograms. The draught ranges from 0.30 metres with the keel raised to 0.90 metres with the keel lowered, allowing the boat to be used in shallow water. The air draft is 7 metres. In the SCS version, all lines are routed to a central control station, allowing the boat to be operated with minimal arm strength.
There is no propulsion engine; the boat is powered solely by sail. The sail plan comprises an 11.0 square metre mainsail, or 9.0 square metres in the SCS version, with a 3.8 square metre jib and an optional 14 square metre asymmetric gennaker.
