The beam is adjustable from 1.92 to 2.23 metres because the struts can be extended or retracted, thereby adjusting the leverage effect to suit the sailor’s weight. The hull is constructed from epoxy fibreglass with a foam sandwich core and weighs just 49 kilograms unladen and 79 kilograms ready to sail.
There is no propulsion engine; the boat is powered solely by sail. The mainsail measures 12.8 square metres and is hoisted on a carbon-fibre mast, with a 16-square-metre spinnaker for downwind courses.
