The hull is constructed from fibreglass with vinyl ester resin, weighs 88 kilograms unladen and 129 kilograms ready to sail without the foredeck. The spacious cockpit and wide stern give the boat plenty of power on broad-reach courses.
There is no propulsion engine; the boat is powered solely by sail. The mainsail and jib together measure 14.76 square metres, with an asymmetrical spinnaker measuring 13.94 square metres.
